I haven’t picked up a paintbrush in months. It’s not that I don’t want to, but we don’t have the space to set up an easel and spread out the paint tubes while living in the fifth wheel. Robert hasn’t been able to build any new jewelry either. We also want to spend more time with the grandchildren. When my daughter said “If you want us to be able to visit, you need to move closer” we realized things had to change.
So…we are moving. The important criteria are
1. Closer to the family
2. More space.
After much debate and exploration in the interior of BC we narrowed our focus to the Okanagan and southern BC. Then a great opportunity arose to move to Midway to a wonderful and economical Mobile Home Park/RV park where we could live temporarily in the fifth wheel if it wasn’t sold until we could get a mobile home ready to occupy, giving us the space we need for jewelry making (see JewelrybyRobert.com), my painting and family guests!
We’re on the move and I’m looking forward to using my paintbrushes again this winter!
